Message to our Members
At Island Federal, the health and well-being of our members, associates and community is our highest priority. With the mounting concerns surrounding the Coronavirus COVID-19, we are closely monitoring the information provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are taking every precaution to protect the health of our members and associates at all Island locations to ensure the continuity of banking operations.
To ensure the safety of Island members and associates, branch access will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you cannot address your banking needs by utilizing one of the Drive-Thru windows at our Hauppauge, Sayville, Selden or Hicksville locations, via Online or Mobile Banking or at an ATM, you may call us to schedule an appointment at a local branch during normal business hours.
Branch appointments will only be made for transactions that cannot be handled through one of the channels listed above. Please do not visit a branch if you are ill, experiencing flu-like symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with a person who has a possible or confirmed case of COVID-19. We greatly appreciate your patience during these challenging times. Please stay safe.
List of Branch Extensions:
We have just become aware of two confirmed cases of individuals with the COVID-19 virus at our Hauppauge and Sayville branches with a possible exposure date of March 28, 2020. Both branches have been thoroughly disinfected in accordance with CDC guidelines. All staff who were exposed at those branches are under home quarantine for two weeks. If you visited either of these locations in the past few weeks and are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your medical professional and take the appropriate measures recommended by CDC here.
